2 steps to close more prospects
When you are meeting a lot of people but just not closing them, in this post I will share a two step process that, if used properly, will absolutely increase your number of signups.
If you are having a lot of prospects watching your home business presentation, this could be in a hotel meeting, online or just with home partys, and not closing them, you are wasting not only your time but theirs as well.
Closing is not a dirty word you know. Every person that shares their story at your company events would not have changed their life or have been impacted if they weren’t “closed” at some point.
It’s just a part of the recruiting process and I believe the most important part. Unfortunately this is not the part that is thought the right way at most companies, if it’s even a part of your education!
In other words, if you suck at closing, all of your actions will be for not. Closing has anything to do with your previous actions. If you know how to close, then 80% of the process is secured.
Now you know the importance about closing and below I’ll share 2 steps to close more prospects.
Step1. Never try to explain how things work. If they ask you a question like “how do I make money with this company?” Please don’t try to explain the compensation plan. Instead, tell them: Ooh, that’s very simple and we’ll teach you how to do that. (always use this answer to the “how to” questions) How to talk to people, how to recruit them, to see the presentation similar to what we are doing right now. And some will say yes and some would say no. Those who say yes will be attached for lifetime and you will earn a percentage of any money they make or products they sell for life. You may never know if the next person you talk to can make thousands of dollars. You just don’t know, but we’ll teach you step by step how to do it.
You see, if you explain the compensation plan, only more questions will pop up and when people ask you questions they are in charge of the conversation. So keep it short and simple.
Step2. This part of the process is to ask them questions right after step 1. Something like: “Now let me ask you a question! Are you coachable? If they say no, then just tell them this might not be a fit for them and if they say yes, hand over the subscription form and say: “Fill in this form and let’s rock this business”
I know this looks easy, but you have to tweak it a little bit for yourself. Bottom line is: Talk less to more people and listen more. God has giving you two ears and one mouth for this reason!!!!
Keep it simple, stop explaining, always answer questions with an answer to keep the power to you. If you don’t know how to handle if you’ve got a question you don’t like to answer, just say something like: “Hey that a great question and love to answer, but let me ask you a question first” Why are you open to this business?
