How To Get People To Join Your MLM
What makes people join an mlm business? And how to get them to join yours! Ever wondered why people finally decide to join an mlm company? This is an important question and you should know the answer if you want to build a large team and become a top earner.
The main differences this industry and any other industry is that it’s all about community and relationships. The most people that get in to the network marketing industry spent so much time pitching and selling that they forget about that. Especially for sales people it’s hard to wrap their minds around. They are mainly interested in selling the products or services and pitching new reps. The moment they sign up a new rep into their organization, they are already looking for the next big fish – and don’t realize that the gold might be inside the new reps network that just joined. I don’t blame them and it’s not their fault. It’s just how they are used to do business in the corporate world.
If you want to know why a person is looking for an opportunity, don’t you think it makes sense that you just ask them? There is no better person to give you the answer than your prospect…. Right?
So why don’t most recruiters ever just ask?
If you want to be seen as a professional, then stop pitching your products, services or opportunity. Always be in control of the conversation by asking fact finding questions.
So if your prospect asks you a question! Respond with a question for them.
“What makes your company difference then all of the others?”
Take control by responding:
That’s really a good question “prospects name”, I’m happy to answer, but do you mind if I asked you some questions first?
This is the part where most people go wrong in the beginning of the recruiting process. If you answer “their” questions you give away “your” power. And here is why!
Most of the times when a prospect asks you a question it’s negatively loaded. When you respond, you’ve most likely get into defense mode and that actually weakens you. Probably if you answer, another question pops up and so on and so on. Now your prospect is in control of the conversation and all you do is defending their objections.
So, take back control, keep your power to the conversation and ask them questions to build rapport, find their pain and let your products, services or opportunity bring a solution.
If you want to be a top recruiter you need to understand the power of questioning. If you don’t, you will end up losing some really great people to work with. People join people and not a business. Always remember that.
In a nutshell:
Why do people join MLM ?=> because of the solutions it offers them
Why they join yours? => You show them those solutions.
How do you know you have a solution for them? => Ask the right questions.
You solving the pain and problem of somebody and you helping to reach their desire? I guarantee you if you master this, your recruiting numbers will increase dramatically.
